Academic Programs at CICON

CICON offers two HEC-recognized degree programs in nursing, both affiliated with The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and recognized by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC). Our curriculum combines rigorous academic training with intensive clinical practice at Alkhidmat Razi Hospital, a 300-bed multidisciplinary facility in Islamabad.

BSN Generic — 4-Year Degree Program

A comprehensive Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree designed for fresh FSc Pre-Medical graduates. This 4-year program provides rigorous academic training combined with hands-on clinical rotations, preparing graduates for professional nursing practice in Pakistan and internationally.

Eligibility Criteria

  • FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks
  • Age: 16–35 years at the time of admission
  • Valid CNIC or B-Form
  • Medical fitness certificate

Post-RN BSN — 2-Year Degree Program

An advanced degree completion program designed for registered nurses holding a valid PNC license who wish to upgrade their qualifications to a BSN level. This 2-year program enhances clinical competencies, leadership skills, and research capabilities, preparing nurses for specialized healthcare roles and academic positions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a PNMC-recognized institution
  • Valid and active PNC registration/license
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification clinical experience
  • Valid CNIC
